Tatiana Hanina's colors float gently and casually across the image carrier, condense, drift apart again, and form vortices and structures in which one can recognize blossoms or plants, but does not have to. Like a stream of life that wells up from the earth, forms living beings, and lingers briefly in order to dissolve them again, wash them away, and merge into something new. The compositions are reminiscent of Art Informel paintings, but they do not look to be composed, but rather like randomly captured states of fluids that flow apart again the next moment or sink into the image carrier. This is a statement by the artist to the living that is unfixed, undefinable, willing to make sense out of chaos and accept existence as it comes, as a part, not a manipulator.
